Comox Valley United Soccer Club puts its effort into three things: developing the people in the game, recruiting the volunteers who run it, and building the facilities everyone plays on. Here is where each of those stands.
Development
Player development. CVUSC is committed to a player development pathway that is in alignment with the LTPD model supported by the CSA. See the Players section for the full pathway.
Coaching development. Raising the level of training of coaches throughout our programs is a priority for the club. See the Coaches section for what is available.
Referee development. CVUSC offers annual courses for new referees — both for small-sided games and as entry-level BCSA soccer officials. See the Referees section.
Volunteer recruitment
CVUSC is a volunteer-driven organization and is always in need of more hands. If you want to help, email info@cvusc.org and we will find you a role that fits.
Facility improvements
The club is proud of the soccer-specific facilities that have been built and developed in the Comox Valley. Projects such as the Valley View clubhouse and the Vanier Turf field are examples of what our club has accomplished.
We continue to work toward additional facilities, including on-site storage at Valley View and, eventually, a second synthetic soccer pitch.
